HOW IT IS ALREADY DECEMBER? 2016 has been a very interesting year. I won’t lie to you when I tell you that I’m glad it’s almost over. That’s right, folks, it’s *that* time again: time to ring in the holiday cheer, slap some glitter around the house, and call it a year.
I’ve always loved washi tape. You can put these suckers on anything and you’ll see an improvement right away. Against my better instincts, I found myself at IKEA this weekend and BOOM! Holiday washi tape! Look out, world, DIY ornaments are a comin’!
You’ll need:
- Scissors
- Washi tape
- Cardboard
First thing I did was cut triangles of various sizes from cardboard I had laying around the house (I love a recycling DIY).
Next, I layered the washi tape onto the triangles.
That’s pretty much it.
You heard me. THAT’S IT!
Put them up on the wall and ta dah!
If I had a huge mantle and fireplace, I cut out a gazillion and slap a row of them all the way across. I’ll just have to settle for the mini version for now.
