Gardening heaven has a name and it’s called Flora Grubb Gardens in San Francisco. This is the real deal, folks. I’m still twitching from my experience.
I’m ashamed to admit that prior to this visit, I’ve never been to gardening heaven before (other than my deck *wink*). I was surprised to see a tour bus full of seniors unload right in front of me when I was there. I knew right away that this was the big leagues.
Nothing can describe how I felt as I wandered through lanes of boundless beauty in the form of annuals, perennials, herbs, succulents, bamboos, maples, <you name it, they got it>. We’re talking multiple acid trips here. I was an addict without the hope of ever going clean.
I’ll let the photos speak for themselves.
Prices are steep. I had sticker shock. But it was cushioned by the CRAZY EYE BONERZ that filled every last inch of the space.
LOVE this wall of wood and what looked like dried tree nuts or plant parts. I was plotting a copy….
Hey hipsters, here’s where you can stock up on air plants.
For the vintage car you never found the time to fix up…
…and the bathroom sink you no longer use.
Come to mama.
Stop everything. Get in the car. GO.
